90 day review questions: the eight an employer asks at the ninety-day review, and what each answer is for

90 day review questions are the employer's, and there are eight worth asking, in an order that produces a decision and a set of goals. Which of the thirty-day goals did you meet, and how do we both know? Which of the role's standards are you meeting, and which not yet? What support helped, and what was missing? What is still unclear about the job? What do you want to own next? What would you change about the first three months? Is there anything I should know? What are your goals to the annual review? The employee review template on this site prints the review these feed, free and without an account.

Questions one and two: goals and standards

The goals agreed at thirty days, met or not, with the occasion the employee offers and the one the manager has. Then the standards, one by one. These two questions produce the ratings, and the answers go on the page beside them.

Questions three to five: support, clarity, ownership

What helped and what was missing goes into the support section of any extension and into the next hire's checklist. What is unclear is the employer's action. What the employee wants to own next is the basis for the annual goals and, where the answer is nothing, a signal worth hearing.

Questions six and seven: the first three months, and anything else

What the employee would change is the honest review of the onboarding. Anything else is the open door, and the answer sometimes changes the decision. Both questions are asked last, when the hire has seen that the earlier answers were written down, which is when the honest ones come.

Question eight: goals to the annual review

Two or three, measurable, dated, in the employee's words where possible. HeadcountDesk Pro keeps the review and opens the annual from it; the template prints it. From the vendors' own pricing pages, cited below: Homebase lists its Essentials plan at $30 per location per month billed monthly or $24 billed annually, with unlimited employees, and a Basic plan at $0 for one location with up to 10 employees; BambooHR starts at $10 per employee per month for Core and $17 for Pro; Deputy's Core plan is $6.50 per user per month. HeadcountDesk Pro is $24 per month per location.
